Jewelry design is the art of designing and creating jewelry. This is one of civilization's earliest forms of decoration, dating back at least seven thousand years to the oldest known human societies in Mesopotamia and Egypt. The art has taken many types throughout the centuries, from the simple beadwork of ancient times to the sophisticated metalworking and gem cutting are known in the modern day.

Before an article of jewelry is created, design concepts are rendered followed by detailed technical drawings generated by a jewelry designer, a professional who is trained in the architectural and functional knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, composition, wearability and market trends. Meet Mark, a dedicated jewelry designer who specializes in the experience of buying custom pieces of jewelry.  Overall his brand is not focused on the sale, but providing a one of a kind experience for his clients, from concept to design everything is done locally at the Long Beach showroom.

A third-generation jeweler, Mark’s father turned the business over to him in 1982, at which point he decided to take the business in a different direction, considering the company from a mass manufacturer to a design studio. He quickly gained popularity for his unique vision and entered and won his first design competition in 1991. Since then, Mark has been recognized internationally as an award-winning designer and has the extreme honor to have a piece on permanent display at the prestigious

When Mark releases a new collection, it’s something to write home about. The house’s jewelry has been sported by Oscar winners, including Elizabeth Taylor and Gwyneth Paltrow, and modern-day style-setter Jessica Alba. It's incredible how this brand has so many  Secrets but continues a legacy of exceptional diamonds with a distinct touch. Available Now, dazzling creations, engagement rings with a unique history and a modern feel. “Someone once said to me, people may not remember your face or your name, but they will remember the experience they had with you" (Says Mark Schneider CEO) “
Marks collections can be interpreted in many different ways; I view his pieces as a collection of captivating and unexpected jewels. The components are meant to mesmerize wearers and jewelry connoisseurs alike. For instance, a combination necklace can be worn several different ways, from a low-key but still impressive diamond line necklace to several cascading layers of shimmer, floating delicately on its wearer’s neck. Another surprising element is a touch of color found in a bracelet and earrings that go from all-white diamond to reveal precious stones including emeralds, sapphires, and tanzanite.  But the true highlight? A diamond encased pyramid shaped ring. “The jewels are designed to create a unique, one-of-a-kind experience for the wearer,” says Mark,
