Good genes clearly run in the family. With the same beauty mark that first made his mother Cindy Crawford one of the most recognizable models over 20 years ago, Presley Gerber was captured for Vogue Hommes Spring/Summer 2016 by Collier Schorr. At just 16 years old, the young American model has already featured in some of the biggest international titles, we delve into the family album of a young rising star.
Just call Presley Gerber a family man.
The model, 18, reveals that the best part of breaking into the fashion industry is sharing the experience with his younger sister Kaia.
“We’re a close family, especially me and my sister, so it’s definitely cool,” Gerber told FASHION IN REVOLT at the Altier pop-up in Hollywood.
And the pair’s bond has grown even stronger as the two navigate the fashion world together.
“We get to travel together half of the time, so it makes it a lot less lonely,” says Gerber, who recently paid tribute to his sister with a tattoo.
Since his runway debut nearly two years ago, Gerber’s resumé already includes appearances on catwalks for Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Tommy Hifiger and numerous campaigns, including one for Calvin Klein alongside his 16-year-old sister. And this year, he teamed up with his supermodel mom Cindy Crawford for Pepsi’s Super Bowl LII commercial. His success has even caused the honor roll student to postpone college. “It’s not looking like I’m going to be heading there any time soon,” he admits.
Now the 18-year-old is quickly rising to fame along with his younger sister, Kaia Gerber. The siblings most definitely won the genetic lottery as their parents are supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. Presley has already walked for several high profile designers including Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Balmain and Tommy Hilfiger - and we are sure he is just getting started.
