HAPPY NEW YEARS-FASHION WEEK !
Here’s another obligatory fashion week article, we are going to visit the past to review one of my favorite collections. I have been working in fashion for eight years, and I’ve loved every minute of it. Being in the epicenter of the fashion world can be a bit overwhelming, but I’ve learned to deal with the pressures of being a fashion blogger and a publicist.
Marc Jacobs, Louis Vitton 2009 collection is sexy, saucy and full-on Parisian, somewhere out of the forties, swizzled up with a dash of glitter and Josephine Baker, according to Sarah Mower, one of my favorite fashion writers.
One thing that has always been constant in my life is fashion week. Every season a new perspective and a new set of stories. I believe a fashion collection should tell a story, how you interpret that is entirely up to you.
I want to see what Hood By Air is going to do in February, getting Anne Wintour approval is not easy, she doesn't give it freely. This past year she declared that Hood By Air was the only designer that took risks. Adding that fashion week was boring.
Like many other, I was on the outside; I scratched my way into an industry only a select few get to see.
I appreciate the experience that I have gained working in this industry, all the blood, sweat and tear and sometimes real blood; for me understanding where I am going and how I plan to get there is more important than the destination itself.
HAPPY NEW YEARS MY BELOVED READERS, I'LL SEE YOU IN THE NEW YEAR!
